Admissions Policy

The School of Nursing aims to educate individuals to become nursing professionals who have warm, sympathetic feelings, are cultured, and have a strong sense of ethics. The school seeks students with the following qualities:

  • A deep interest in people and their lives
  • Wide-ranging basic scholastic ability and the ability to study actively and with a sense of purpose
  • A cooperative spirit and the ability to work with others or on a team
  • The determination to contribute to improving public health, medical care, and social services through nursing practice

Educational Objective

To foster richness of character based on a recognition of the dignity of life and to train nursing professionals with broad-based practical nursing skills to meet the changing needs of society, having developed fundamental leadership and coordination capabilities.

  • Well-cultured nursing professionals rich in character with strong ethics and broad education
  • Nursing professionals with discernment, able to solve problems based on scientific thinking
  • Nursing professionals with strong practical capabilities in public health, medical care, and social services, as well as fundamental leadership and coordination capabilities
  • Nursing professionals who can meet the public health and medical care needs of the citizens of Osaka on a community basis
  • Nursing professionals who have the necessary capabilities for this age of internationalization and information technology
  • Nursing professionals who pursue lifelong learning and specialization in nursing studies
